This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made the big leap to the screen and we celebrate the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations to movies and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his role as the voice of Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2. The episode is set after the events of the game. Much like short genre champions “Love Death + Robots” from Netflix and “Oat Studios,” Prime Video’s offering of “Secret Level” is a varied sampler platter for casual fans of digitally animated sci-fi and video games. “Secret Level” contains eight standalone short episodes based on recently released video games. Viewers who enjoy digitally animated sci-fi, video games, and short-form animation will likely appreciate and appreciate the creative and inexpensive presentations. Series staples true to their video game roots include: the War Hammer and Armored Core segments. For Arnold Schwarzenegger fans and ultra-nerds, there were a couple of smiley Easter eggs to enjoy in the New World: Aeternum episode. Much like short-form genre champions “Love Death + Robots” and Netflix’s “Oat Studios,” Prime Video’s “Secret Level” offering is a diverse sampler for casual fans of sci-fi and digitally animated video games. “Secret Level” is a nice, strong addition to the “Love Death + Robots” and “Oat Studios” short-form genre samplers. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
